Ken Summers is a native of Colorado and grew up in Englewood, graduating from Englewood High School. He earned a bachelors degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Business Education and a Master of Nonprofit Management degree from Regis University. Ken’s wife Debbie is a Fort Collins native and is a registered nurse working for Hospice of Saint John in Lakewood, the second oldest hospice organization in the nation. Ken and Debbie have been married for 32 years and have two children and two grandchildren. Their son Christian and his wife Bridget live in southwest Denver and have one son (Riley) 18 months old. Christian is the Associate Pastor of Dakota Ridge Assembly in Littleton. Their daughter Stephanie and her husband Nathan live in Canton, Georgia. They have one son (Mason) 7 months old. Stephanie is the marketing director at Access Property Management in Atlanta and assists her husband in his youth ministry duties at Restoration Church in Roswell, Georgia. Ken’s commitment and motivation is to make sure Colorado remains the best place to live, work and raise a family.
